Hours after high-speed 4G internet was restored across Jammu and Kashmir today, National Conference leader Omar Abdullah tweeted it is "better late than never". Restrictions on high-speed internet in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir has been extended till January 8, 2021. This means that 3G and 4G internet will continue to be banned and mobile internet speeds will be limited to 2G.
