Two Trains Collide in Gorakhpur in Eastern Uttar Pradesh

Two passenger trains have collided near the Gorakhpur station in eastern Uttar Pradesh.
A collision between two passenger trains in Uttar Pradesh has left six people dead and 40 injured. Railways officials warn that the death toll is likely to go up.
The accident took place at about 10:45 pm near the town of Gorakhpur in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, 270 km from the capital of Lucknow.
Officials say the trains collided when one of them was changing tracks; two bogies reportedly derailed.
Movement of trains on the Gorakhpur-Varanasi track has been disrupted following the accident.
