Final Day, Big Show: Obama's Town Hall

President Obama ends his 3-day visit to India by addressing a Town Hall at New Delhi's Siri Fort Auditorium. About 2000 people, comprising students from Delhi University and activists, attended the Town Hall.

On the sidelines of the Town Hall, Nobel Laureate Kailash Satyarthi had a friendly meeting with President Obama and First Lady Michelle. He is said to have sought support from the US President to make the world, child labour free.

Vishal, the son of a labourer the Obamas met when they visited Humayun's Tomb in 2010. President Obama spoke about Vishal and his family during his Town Hall. Vishal is now 16 and in school. He wants to join the army later. "Have hope for Indian youth, believe in a young boy who knows he has a chance as long as he keeps studying," said President Obama.
