Who's that girl: Shazahn Padamsee

Last seen in Sajid Khan directed, Housefull 2, Shazahn Padamsee made her Bollywood debut in 2009 in Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year opposite Ranbir Kapoor.

The 24 year old Shazahn Padamsee, is the daughter of adman Alyque Padamsee and pop star Sharon Prabhakar. She was born on 19 October 1987.

Shazahn was 19 when she made her stage debut alongside her father in a play called Unspoken Dialogues. That was when she realized she wanted to be a full time actress.

Modelling was a stepping stone to her Bollywood dreams. Shazahn was signed as the face of 'Clean and Clear' while she was trying her luck in Bollywood.

She finally landed her first big project with Yash Raj Studios in 2009, playing the role of Sherena in Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year. The film was critically successful but failed commercially.

Shazahn then moved down South to try her luck and appeared in 2010 Tamil film, Kanimozhi, written and directed by Sripathi Rangasamy.

Her role got mixed reviews and most critics wrote her off as a pretty face.

Her other film was the Telugu language Orange opposite superstar Ram Charan Teja. It released on the same day as Kanimozhi and was better received by critics.

In 2011, Shazahn was second time lucky in Bollywood with romantic comedy Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji directed by Madhur Bhandarkar. She played the love interest of actor Ajay Devgn in the movie which also featured actor Emraan Hashmi, Omi Vaidya, Shruti Haasan and Shraddha Das. Although the jury was out on Shazahn's performance again, the film was a hit.

Shazahn was finally able to catch the attention she was craving for with her bikini-clad body in Sajid Khan directed, Housefull 2, a box office success.

The actress was quite apprehensive about showing iff her bikini body but agreed to because of how beautifully Sajid had shot actresses Deepika Padukone and Lara Dutta in the first Housefull film.
