Hollywood star Jessica Simpson, famous for her curvy figure has admitted that hanging
out with models while filming her reality show, Price of Beauty made her literally sick.
The 29-year-old singer, who had also visited India to film some episodes with Bollywood beauty Neha Dhupia, while promoting Vh1's The Price of Beauty on a Television Critics Association panel, said she was freaked out by the thin models, said a report.
"Going to Paris, I had to walk a runway with all these tall skinny models and I almost puked I was so nervous," Simpson said.
The Price of Beauty, a show about what people find beautiful and why, sees Simpson travelling to Japan, Thailand, France, Brazil, Uganda, Morocco and India to study what constitutes beauty.
"I mean, I can walk a red carpet but walking a runway, I will be the first to fall on my face. And thank god I didn't," said she.
"But I was so nervous to walk out there and be judged. To just put myself out there like that. Especially next to people that eat just salad," she added.
However, the Dukes of Hazzard star said she was able to get some much-needed perspective about herself shooting for the show which completely changed her as a person.
"Filming the show changed me completely. I haven't always had an inner confidence and I haven't always looked at my reflection and loved it," Simpson said.
"There's always something I've wanted to fix because there's always somebody that looks better," she adds.
"And that's what we always try to compare ourselves to. I think the journey really was finding what is beautiful inside of me and knowing that I own it and it's unique. Rare. It was a very powerful journey."
Apparently, The reality TV star feels she is now "carefree" about her looks.
"I definitely carry myself different after experiencing this because there is something about myself that is so unique that I found that I'm proud of."
"Any man I find, they're gonna be darn lucky!," said Simpson, who just split from beau Billy Corgan.
