Saif Ali Khan says he plans to promote his home production Agent Vinod through the World Series Hockey starting on Feb 29.

"Hockey needs to be promoted and even Agent Vinod needs a platform. Like hockey even Agent Vinod has national hero in it. Both need attention and that is how both are connected," Saif told reporters.
Saif has a cross-marketing tie-up with the series and his film Agent Vinod.
Talking about his association with hockey, Saif said: "Since hockey is our national game, more films should be made on this subject. Hockey does deserve much more importance."
So far the only commercially successful film on hockey has been the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Chak De! India.

Despite the midnight brawl and the events which followed, including arrest and release on bail, Saif remained poised at the event.
