The actress who has turned quite selective about her roles off late seems to have taken the perfect decision by choosing Banaras, as the film does full justice to her talent. Much has been talked about the star cast of Farah Khan’s second directorial venture Happy New Year. However the only confirmations so far in the cast of this Shahrukh Khan production have been ex-badminton star Prakash Padukone's daughter, Deepika Padukone and SRK's friend and co-star of the 90s, Juhi Chawla. Aamir Khan was in Delhi recently to spend some time with eight children affected by the Gujarat riots. These children are now studying in the capital, post the traumatic experience of the riots. John Abraham, known for his love for bikes, unfortunately met with an accident in Mumbai. The actor was riding in Mumbai’s Khar area around midnight. All of a sudden, a cyclist turned onto the main road resulting in John losing control of his bike. He collided with a cycle which was carrying two men. (Indiafm.com)
