This is her third venture with Yash Raj Films. The actress has win accolades for her performance of a typical Delhi girl.
There have been rumours of Ranveer and Anushka being a couple, but the two haven't decided to keep mum.
Not so long ago in 2008 Anushka made her debut on the big screen with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, opposite none other than Shah Rukh Khan.
She played the conservative and homely Taani in the flick and got good reviews for her performance.
Her second film, Badmaash Company saw her transform from a girl-next-door to a feisty and independent Bulbul.
Badmaash Company was also made under Yash Raj Films banner and had Shahid Kapoor as her male lead.
Anushka flaunted her fab body and sported a bikini in the movie.
Not just that, she also had a hot kissing scene with Shahid in Badmaash Company.
Anushka was born in Bangalore and she graduated in Arts from Mount Carmel College. She then moved to Mumbai to make a career in modeling.
The lady wanted to make it big in the modeling world and had no strong aspirations for films initially.
She began her career as a model at the Lakme Fashion Week for designer Wendell Rodricks. She was then picked to be his finale model at the Spring Summer '07 Collection.
Since then she has done campaigns for Silk & Shine, Whisper, Nathella Jewellery and Fiat Palio.
The actress has recently wrapped up shooting for Patiala House, which her first project outside Yash Raj Films.
Directed by Nikhil Advani, Akshay Kumar plays the lead. Patiala House is scheduled to be released on February 11, 2011.
