The ban imposed by governments of UP, Punjab and Andhra Pradesh on Prakash Jha's Aarakshan failed to make an impact on the people of Bhopal. The film is close to their hearts since it is shot (and based) in Bhopal.
On the film's release today (August 12), a group of actors from Bhopal who have worked in the film, gathered outside a cinema hall and celebrated its release.
The actors are very upbeat about the film being a superhit and said that whoever is trying to create a controversy about the film is doing it for political mileage.
