It was a special birthday (August 13, 2012) for Sridevi this year, as the first trailer of her comeback movie English Vinglish was launched on the same day.
Right after the launch party in Mumbai, Sridevi headed home to celebrate her big day with her family.

Sridevi Videvi launch English Vinglish
We spotted the gorgeous Sridevi with her husband Boney Kapoor and daughters Jhanvi and Khushi at the theatrical trailer launch of her comeback movie English Vinglish in Mumbai.
The lady looked glam in lavender trousers paired with a cream top.
Sridevi said, "I am very happy and excited...it is my first film after many years. I hope everyone likes it."

The actress thanked her producer R Balki and said, "I must thank Balki and Gauri for making me feel comfortable. It is my first film after 15 years and I felt like a newcomer."

Debutante director Gauri Shinde said: "While writing the script, I did not think of anyone. When Balki met Boney and Sridevi, they asked him what was he doing at that time. Balki mentioned about me writing a script. Sridevi liked the subject and I narrated the script to her and it just happened."
