Craig bonds with the best, Twlight's sweet delight

A stubbled Daniel Craig looks surprised.

The Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace star attended a press conference announcing the latest Bond film, titled Skyfall.

Mendes, who has promised the new Bond film will have tonnes of action scenes, was in the news for his split with wife Kate Winslet last year.

Craig shares a light moment with Oscar-winner Javier Bardem, who will be the film's main antagonist.

Sam Mendes has said that Skyfall will feature a separate storyline and will not continue the plot followed in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace.

Skyfall's plot revolves around M's past and how it comes back to haunt her. To save M's honour and protect MI6's secrets, Bond must destroy the threat before it's too late.

The latest Bond girl, French actress Berenice Marlohe, poses with Naomie Harris, who will play a field agent called Eve.

Earlier reports suggested Harris would play the new Miss Moneypenny, who has yet to make an appearance in films starring Daniel Craig as James Bond.
