Aishwarya Rai Bachchan attended the prayer meet of cinematographer Ashok Mehta, held in Mumbai. Mr Mehta died on August 15. He was suffering from cancer.

Arjun Rampal ,who was launched in Bollywood by Ashok Mehta, also attended the prayer meet with wife Mehr. The actor made his Bollywood debut in Moksha which was directed by Mr Mehta.
Also seen at the prayer meet were actors Rishi Kapoor and Poonam Dhillon.
Director-producer Subhash Ghai came with his wife Mukta.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan seen leaving the venue with her mother Vrinda Rai and her Taal director Subhash Ghai.
Actor Chunky Pandey was also spotted at the meet.
Singer Ila Arun and TV host and actor Shekhar Suman also paid their last respects to Ashok Mehta.
Ashok Mehta's family received the guests at the prayer meet.
