For many Bengaluru residents, a long drive can begin long before they actually leave the city. One man's recent experience has captured that frustration, as he said he spent nearly an hour simply trying to reach Bengaluru's outskirts before starting what was meant to be a one-and-a-half-hour drive.
Taking to Instagram, a man identified as Tanay shared his experience of heading out of Bengaluru for a roughly one-and-a-half-hour drive. He said the biggest problem is the time it takes to get out of the city because of traffic.
Tanay shared the video with the caption, "Getting out of Bangalore is a bigger challenge".

He said that the concept of long drives is completely messed up because he lives in Bengaluru and had planned to get out of the city for a one-and-a-half-hour drive. However, he spent an hour just getting out of Bengaluru, making him question which part of the trip could actually be considered a long drive.
Joking about the situation, Tanay questioned whether the actual long drive was the journey outside Bengaluru or the time spent travelling through the city.
He added that he spent most of his time getting out of Bengaluru due to the traffic, questioning whether a long drive means travelling from central Bengaluru to the outskirts or from the outskirts to another city.
