With wedding season in full swing, any and every festive inspiration is welcome. Bright and colourful lehengas or Indo-western outfits are forever the need for the season but every once in a while a cocktail gown comes along to sweep us off our feet. Tara Sutaria's strappy black gown is the case in point. The actress recently attended a wedding in Mussoorie and looked absolutely gorgeous in a shimmery black maxi gown from Club L. The sequin number featured a plunging neckline and cami straps to elegantly show off the slinky silhouette. The winter doesn't stop for anyone but neither does Tara Sutaria's festive style who keeps the cold at bay with a black trench coat thrown on top.

In the next page of Tara Sutaria's Mussoorie wedding diary, we have this three-piece pastel ensemble. Outfit courtesy of designer  Ritika Mirchandani's festive couture collection. The lime green number had a hand-embroidered ivory long jacket thrown over the sharara set. It was paired with a cutwork fitted sleeveless bustier. Statement danglers and a potli bag were the perfect accessories. Barring the rosy cheeks, Tara picked mute tones for her makeup and a silver bindi rounded off her desi look.

Last year in October, Tara Sutaria walked the ramp at the FDCI x Lakme Fashion Week for designer Aisha Rao. She slipped into a gorgeous floral-themed lehenga and oh boy were we impressed. The ethnic lehenga came with multi-coloured designs against a black background. Its blouse came with a modern twist with a sweetheart neckline, full sleeves and off-shoulder detailing. A statement neckpiece for accessories ensured she shined bright.

Tara Sutaria's traditional wardrobe is glamorous by all means. This beautiful mauve-hued lehenga, adorned with embellishment all over, is proof. The matching blouse showcased half-length sleeves, beaded tassels and a plunging neckline. Her traditional jewellery and hairdo included tresses tied in a bun and surrounded by flowers and looked impressive for the festive season.
