Mumbai: One and a half years after the Mumbai Attacks killed 166 people, it's judgement day on Monday. A court in Mumbai, after an almost 200-day trial, will give its verdict on Ajmal Kasab, the only terrorists caught alive in the attacks.

Pakistani contacts:
In February 2009, Kasab details roles of most Pakistani coordinators of the attack. But in July, he stresses on a new name Abu Jundal, an Indian, who he says was part of the plot. The police say Jundal may just be a red herring.
Killing the officers:
In February 2009, Kasab had told the magistrate he had opened fire on the police van carrying the three officers. In July, in court he blamed the shooting on his partner Abu Ismail.
Killing Tukaram Ombale: In his confession, Kasab had described how he fired at Assistant Police Inspector Tukaram Ombale just before he was arrested, a statement supported by eyewitness accounts. In July, he said he was too injured to shoot.
Inside Cama Hospital: He initially admitted to firing indiscriminately in Cama Hospital and killing people, a fact corroborated by eye-witnesses. Later he backtracked completely.
December denials Three months ago in December once again, he retracted from his earlier statement and claimed he was forcibly made to confess by the police. He denied every charge against him saying that he was strolling at Juhu beach three days before 26/11 when the police picked him up.
He also claimed that the pictures taken of him were of somebody else and he was never at CST and had never handled an AK 47
