Kartik Aaryan, whose film Shehzada released in theatres today, was clicked at Mumbai's Siddhivinayak Temple on Friday afternoon. The actor, dressed in his festive best, greeted the paparazzi with folded hands there. The actor stars in the lead role in Shehzada, which is a Hindi remake of the 2020 film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, which featured Allu Arjun, Pooja Hegde and Tabu. During a recent interview with ETimes, the actor revealed that he returned his remuneration for the film. "Earlier I was not a producer for the film. I had taken my fees and remuneration but then there was some crisis that was happening and because the film was going through a crisis, they needed somebody to step up so I asked the producer that I will give up my money for the film and that's how this whole this whole production thing and me becoming a co-producer," ETimes quoted Kartik Aaryan as saying.
Kartik Aaryan made his Bollywood debut with Luv Ranjan's 2011 film Pyaar Ka Punchnama and he has been a part of movies such as Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Kaanchi-The Unbreakable, Luka Chuppi , Guest Inn London and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. He also starred in Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal, opposite Sara Ali Khan. He also starred in Netflix's Dhamaka with Mrunal Thakur.
Last year, Kartik Aaryan was last seen in the hit horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 co-starring Kiara Advani and Tabu. The actor was also apart of the thriller Freddy with Alaya F. He will next be seen in Satyaprem Ki Katha alongside Kiara Advani.
