Perumbavoor announced the development at the Mazhavil Manorama Awards. The new instalment is certain, he said, describing the announcement as coming straight from his heart.
Drishyam 3 hit the theatres on May 21 and turned out to be a blockbuster. The confirmation of the next instalment months after its release has left fans thrilled. The third installment entered the Rs 100-crore club within a few days of its release, despite receiving mixed reviews from viewers.
