Chiranjeevi has given fans a birthday surprise by announcing his next film, Kaaka. Director Bobby Kolli unveiled the title glimpse of the upcoming project on Saturday, offering audiences a first hint at what is in store. The film is slated to arrive in theatres next year on January 13, during the Sankranthi season.

The glimpse introduces Chiranjeevi as K Satyam, a supervisor working in the aqua industry. In the opening sequence, Satyam assures the Chennai team that the load will arrive on time before turning down Sunil's leave request and reminding him that their target is the upcoming festival.

The scene takes a lighter turn when Getup Srinu tells Satyam about the scooter keys his daughter had given him. Satyam asks him to throw the keys at him, but they accidentally fall into the water.

A dog soon appears with a remote, which Satyam uses to retrieve the keys with the help of a magnet. However, the seemingly simple moment takes an unexpected turn when guns are pulled out along with the keys, leading to the reveal of Chiranjeevi's middle-aged character and the film's title, Kaaka.

The glimpse then moves into a flashback featuring a younger and more stylish Chiranjeevi in a gun-firing sequence that delivers the film's major mass moment.

Directed by Bobby Kolli, the film presents the Megastar in two contrasting avatars. One is the grounded middle-class Satyam, placed against a younger character marked by attitude and swagger.

Chiranjeevi's distinctive body language, screen presence and style remain at the heart of the glimpse.

Kaaka also features Anaswara Rajan in a pivotal role. The film's technical team includes production designer Avinash Kolla, editor Antony L Ruben and writers Kona Venkat, K Chakravarthy Reddy, Hari Mohana Krishna and Vineeth Potluri.

On the work front, Chiranjeevi also has Mallidi Vassishta's Vishwambhara in the line-up. The film releases in theatres on October 16.
