Ongoing conflicts in West Asia, particularly disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz affecting tanker traffic, have driven up raw material expenses essential for vehicle manufacturing.
Volvo's India portfolio includes four main models: the electric EX30, EC40, and the internal combustion-powered XC60 and XC90 SUVs. While specific hikes per model remain undisclosed, the maximum adjustment caps at Rs 1 lakh ex-showroom for all variants.
