Mahindra & Mahindra is going full throttle in terms of the introduction of new products. While the brand is set to showcase a host of products on Independence Day, they seem to have plans to start the party early. This will likely be in the form of a new iteration of the brand's first born electric SUV, the BE6. This version of the vehicle will be showcased on August 14 and has been teased, revealing the silhouette of the electric vehicle.
The latest teaser seems to be hinting at a new dark edition of the electric SUV. The brand is yet to confirm the name. However, speculations are that it will be called the Shadow Edition. In the teaser, it is easy to spot the black colour of the BE6. Along with the dark paint, the vehicle also has some shiny elements on the front and rear end, along with the alloy wheels.

If it indeed turns out to be a dark edition of the vehicle, the move will be in sync with the brand's pattern. We saw a similar pattern recently with the Scorpio N Carbon Edition and the XUV 700 Ebony Edition. But this is slightly different as it will be the first-ever special edition version of the electric SUV of the brand. Going with this, the electric SUV will likely get a blacked-out cabin.
Presently, the Mahindra BE 6 is sold at a starting price of Rs 18.90 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes in five variants, including Pack One, Pack One Above, Pack Two, Pack Three Select, and Pack Three. Meanwhile, there are two battery pack options on offer, including a 59 kWh battery pack and a 79 kWh battery pack. The bigger battery pack offers a maximum range of 683 km on a single charge.
