JSW MG Motor India has announced that the MG Windsor finished 2025 as the country's best-selling electric vehicle. With 46,735 units sold during the year, the model has set a new benchmark in India's four-wheeler EV segment, highlighting its growing popularity among buyers. The Windsor's success is credited to its family-friendly design, spacious interiors, and comfort-oriented features. Combined with a well-equipped cabin and smooth driving experience, these qualities have helped it earn wide acceptance, making it one of India's most recognized EVs.

Speaking on the occasion, Anurag Mehrotra, Managing Director, JSW MG Motor India said, "The Windsor epitomises a contemporary automotive marvel that has redefined the EV segment with its practicality, technology, and futuristic design. It has successfully enabled the acceleration of EV adoption by converting fence-sitters to proud EV owners and is certainly a trendsetter within India's EV revolution. The carmaker ended CY2025 with 19 percent overall growth and recorded a remarkable 111 percent surge in its EV sales compared to CY2024. The consistent demand for MG EVs is evident not only in Tier I cities but also in non-metros and emerging markets, signalling India's readiness to adopt sustainable mobility solutions.

The MG Windsor, India's 1st Intelligent CUV, combines the expanse of a sedan and the versatility of an SUV. It is offered with a starting BaaS price of Rs 9.99L + Rs 3.9/kms, and delivers 100 KW (136 PS) of power and 200 Nm of torque. The MG Windsor offers two battery pack options for added versatility: a 38 kWh pack with a range of 332 km and its PRO variant, a 52.9 kWh pack, delivering an impressive range of 449 km.

The MG Windsor comes with a futuristic 'AeroGlide' design language, transcending the concept of traditional segmentation. Inside, the car is offered with business-class comfort that features 'Aero Lounge' seats reclinable to 135 degrees, providing utmost comfort. Additionally, the massive 15.6" GRANDVIEW Touch Display on the centre console provides an intuitive driving experience.
