Kawasaki Z650, Z650 RS Get Discount Of Up To Rs 27,000 In Feb'2026

Kawasaki India has rolled out limited-period discounts on its Z650 and Z650RS models, valid until February 2026. The Z650 now receives a price cut of Rs 27,000, bringing its ex-showroom cost to Rs 6.99 lakh. Meanwhile, the neo-retro Z650RS is reduced by Rs 20,000, lowering its price to Rs 7.63 lakh. These offers follow earlier reductions on the Ninja and Versys range, extending benefits to Kawasaki's popular Z series. The Z650RS, updated with E20 fuel compliance for 2026, had carried a premium over its predecessor, making this discount particularly appealing for buyers.

These offers apply only to MY25-manufactured units and remain valid until January 31, 2026. Interested buyers are advised to check with authorised Kawasaki dealerships for availability and further details before making a purchase.

Both the Kawasaki Z650 and Z650RS share the same liquid-cooled 649cc twin-cylinder engine, which is fully E20 fuel compliant. The motor produces 68 hp and 64 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring a slip/assist clutch for smoother operation.

Interestingly, this unit is among the few large-capacity twin-cylinder engines still using a 180-degree firing order, a departure from the more common 270-degree setups that mimic the feel and sound of a V-twin. This gives the Kawasaki twins a distinct character compared to most modern middleweights.

At their current price point, the Z650 and Z650RS stand out with virtually no direct rivals. Most other twin-cylinder motorcycles under 100hp have now moved up to larger 750-800cc categories, leaving Kawasaki's 650s in a unique position within the market.

The superbike now carries a price tag of Rs 18.29 lakh after a massive Rs 2.50 lakh reduction. The Ninja 1000 SX also receives a notable Rs 1.43 lakh discount, bringing its ex-showroom price to Rs 12.99 lakh. Meanwhile, the ZX-6R does not get a direct price cut but comes bundled with a premium Ohlins steering damper worth Rs 83,000, adding significant value.
