Isuzu Motors India has introduced a new leasing option for the D-Max S-CAB pickup truck, targeting businesses and fleet operators seeking a cost-effective alternative to traditional vehicle financing. The move is aimed at improving accessibility while simplifying ownership through a structured rental model.
Under this new programme, the Isuzu D-Max S-CAB is available at a starting monthly lease rental of Rs 38,999 for a tenure of four years. The company states that the plan requires zero down payment and bundles key ownership costs such as insurance, registration, and periodic servicing into the monthly fee. This approach is designed to reduce the financial burden at the time of acquisition and offer better cost predictability over the lease period.

According to Isuzu, customers opting for this leasing route could save up to Rs 1.81 lakh compared to conventional financing methods. Additionally, businesses can avoid concerns related to vehicle depreciation and resale value, which are typically associated with outright ownership. The initiative is expected to benefit small businesses, logistics operators, and fleet owners looking to optimise operational expenses.

Commenting on the development, Rajesh Mittal, Managing Director, Isuzu Motors India, highlighted the importance of the Indian market and noted that such initiatives can help expand the brand's reach among commercial users. Takeshi Hirano, Deputy Managing Director, added that the leasing model has been designed to offer greater flexibility and convenience for customers managing fleets.
Mechanically, the Isuzu D-Max S-CAB continues to be powered by a 2.5-litre VGT intercooled diesel engine paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The pickup is built on a high-tensile steel frame and features a large cargo bed along with a heavy-duty suspension setup, making it suitable for demanding commercial applications.
Inside the cabin, the D-Max S-CAB offers practical features such as a 6-way adjustable driver seat, air conditioning with a dust and pollen filter, multiple storage spaces, and a multi-information display.
Isuzu Motors India has confirmed that customers interested in the leasing programme can visit authorised dealerships across the country to learn more about eligibility and terms.
