BMW Motorrad has officially opened pre-bookings for its highly anticipated BMW F 450 GS in India, ahead of its official launch on April 23, 2026. The update was shared through the brand's social media platforms, confirming that interested buyers can now reserve the BMW F 450 GS via authorised dealerships. Customers looking to secure their unit can contact their nearest dealership for details regarding the booking amount and other related information.
Powering the BMW F 450 GS is a newly developed 450cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces 48 hp and 43 Nm of torque. The motorcycle also comes equipped with Quickshifter Pro, enabling smoother and clutchless gear shifts. Notably, this engine has been co-developed with TVS as part of the ongoing partnership between the two brands.
In terms of design, the BMW F 450 GS features a sculpted fuel tank, sharp side fairings, and a pointed front profile complemented by a signature beak-like extension. The headlamp design, inspired by the R 1300 GS, incorporates bold X-shaped DRLs, while the sleek tail lamp enhances the motorcycle's aggressive and adventure-focused styling.

BMW has stated that the BMW F 450 GS weighs 175 kg, although it hasn't specified whether this figure refers to kerb weight or dry weight. Given that the smaller G 310 GS already has a kerb weight of 175 kg, it is likely that this number excludes fluids. In real-world conditions, the final production-spec BMW F 450 GS is expected to weigh slightly more than the stated figure.
