Ducati, the Italian motorcycle maker, has launched the Ducati Streetfighter V2 and the V2 S in India. The prices of the motorcycle begin from Rs 17.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The Streetfighter V2 comes as a mid-capacity sport naked derived from the Panigale V2 platform, with its fairing removed and ergonomics tailored for everyday road riding. Instead of chasing extreme power numbers, it focuses on being lightweight, offering sharper chassis dynamics, and packing a well-rounded electronics suite that makes it both engaging and practical for riders.
The 2025 Ducati Streetfighter V2 is powered by the new 890 cc, 90-degree V2 engine that complies with the Euro5+ standard. The power mill is capable of delivering a maximum power of 120 hp at 10,750 rpm and a maximum torque of 93.3 Nm at 8,250 rpm. Also, the track freaks can get racing exhaust from the brand's accessory package that pushes the max power output to 126 hp, reducing weight by 4.5 kg.

The Streetfighter V2 comes loaded with advanced electronics, anchored by a 6-axis IMU for precise control and safety. Key systems include cornering ABS with slide-by-brake, predictive Ducati Traction Control, Wheelie Control, Quick Shift 2.0, and Engine Brake Control. Riders can tailor performance through four riding modes- Race, Sport, Road, and Wet, each customizable to preference. A 5-inch TFT display with Road, Road Pro, and Track layouts ensures clear feedback and adaptability across different riding conditions.
The Streetfighter V2 is engineered with a lightweight monocoque frame that uses the V2 engine as a stressed element, keeping dry weight at just 175 kg for the V2 S and 178 kg for the V2. A Panigale V4-inspired swingarm boosts stability, while suspension differs between Marzocchi/Kayaba units on the V2 and premium Ohlins components with a lithium-ion battery on the V2 S. Both feature Sachs steering dampers, Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres, and Brembo M50 brakes for sharp handling and strong stopping power.
The 2025 Ducati Streetfighter V2 is launched at a price tag of Rs 17,50,200 (ex-showroom), and the V2 S is priced at Rs 19,48,900 (ex-showroom).
