Dr Varun Veer
Dr. Varun was 9 years old when his father, a skilled master of Ayurveda, introduced him to the practice of yoga. Ever since, yoga has been central to Varun’s life and he says, “I’ve always felt a deeper connection to yoga from a past life”. He adds, “All that I have experienced in my journey of yoga has been extremely joyful. These experiences aren’t mine alone, they rightfully belong to every practitioner.” As the Founder of Lifeyoga, he hopes to share this spiritual peace, supreme health, and way of life with our community. He believes that dhyaan is the most important aspect of every practice as that’s when you can really “connect to the supreme self.”
Varun is a living, breathing testimonial to the powers of a yoga practice. He is luminous — and we mean genuinely radiant both inside and out. His study of yoga is immersive and ongoing, and every pranayama or meditation class he takes, feels like an extended experiential study that is almost magical. Varun has conducted many workshops across the globe, authored two books that chronicle his expertise in yoga – ‘Yoga is Life’ and ‘Research Methodology of Yogic Science’, and pioneered the Doordarshan show ‘Tan Mann’ that ran for 2 years.
