As mid-term election looms large, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati launched schemes worth Rs 9000 crore in the name of her mentor Kanshi Ram.She announced the scheme during a rally, which was attended by a record crowd in the history of Uttar Pradesh. ''Due to the nuclear deal and the Ram Setu issue this government will not last for long. So you must prepare for polls,'' said Mayawati, President, BSP.
