Addressing a rally in Murshidabad, Owaisi accused the TMC and other parties of using Muslims as a vote bank without ensuring real development. He also stirred controversy by likening Mamata Banerjee and PM Modi to “siblings,” while backing Humayun Kabir for stronger minority representation.
