In a shocking incident, a speeding transport bus ploughed into passengers waiting at a bus stand in Karnataka's Haveri on Wednesday morning, leaving a two-year-old child and three others injured. The accident took place around 7 am at the central bus stand when people were standing on the platform checking the destination board of an incoming bus. The injured toddler, identified as Hazrat Ali (2) from Savanur, suffered serious injuries to his knee. He was given first aid before being shifted to KIMS Hospital, Hubballi, for advanced treatment. His condition is reported to be critical.
