Inflation for the week ended October 18 fell to 10.68 per cent, from 11.07 per cent in the earlier week. Inflation has fallen below 11 per cent for the first time since May this year. The Wholesale Price Index dropped to 238.3 vs 238.8 a week earlier. The index for primary articles fell 0.3 per cent, while fuel index went down 0.4 per cent. The manufactured product index dropped slightly lower by 0.1 per cent.
