The last session of Parliament before Lok Sabha Polls has seen a war of words between the Government and the opposition over inflation. Today, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Rajya Sabha responded to AIADMK MP Thambidurai's question on price rise in states. He asked whether the centre was diverting funds to states for the same to which the Minister said that states will also have to reduce prices where possible. She was hinting at state governments not cutting taxes resulting in higher prices in states. Who is responsible for the rising price rise?
