Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM), which is demanding a separate state of Gorkhaland to be carved out of North Bengal, has temporarily suspended its agitation in the hills of Darjeeling. The agitation has been suspended to ensure that the tripartite talks with the Centre scheduled for November are held in a congenial atmosphere.
