TMC Holds Minority Seats But BJP Surges In Urban Bengal
In West Bengal, the All India Trinamool Congress continues to hold an edge in minority-dominated seats, leading in 42 out of 62, though this is significantly down from the last election. The Bharatiya Janata Party has improved its presence in these constituencies with 18 leads. The bigger shift is visible in urban areas, where the BJP is ahead in 39 out of 68 seats, compared to TMC's 28.
