DCR amendment will not cause realty rates to go up: Orbit Group

Pujit Aggarwal, MD & CEO, Orbit Group of Companies says that with Maharashtra Government amending DCRs for the state capital city, ambiguity in the sanctioning process has been removed. Now, Balconies, flower beds and terrace will be counted as Floor Space Index (FSI), leading to increase in carpet area. But this will not cause rates to go up, he feels.
