The Centre has asked the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to reassess the Liberhan Commission report on the Babri Masjid demolition. The development came after the premier investigating agency returned the report to the Union Home Ministry saying there's no evidence of allegations against leaders from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Singh (RSS).
