All tiger deaths to be treated as cases of poaching

The Tadoba tiger reserve in Maharashtra has been on heightened 'poacher' alert for the last few weeks. But still the state has lost at least 8 tigers in the last five months. And this has prompted the National Tiger Conservation Authority to declare that all tiger deaths across the country be treated as cases of poaching unless otherwise proved.
