One week after the mutilation of two Indian jawans, reportedly by Pakistani Rangers, Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh finally broke his silence, telling NDTV that it can no longer be business as usual with Pakistan. This is as the government put on hold a visa on arrival agreement that was meant to begin today. Sources also indicate that a visit of the Pakistani commerce minister may also now be in doubt.
