Sensex falls to two-year low

The Sensex touched a two-year low in the early deals as major Asian markets plunged on Monday amid concerns about the financial crisis spreading across the globe. The BSE-30 Sensex reached an intra-day low of 12120, touching a two-year low in the process, before recovering to trade at 12,172, down 353 points.
