After the Congress finished a dismal third in the Hisar by-elections, social activist Anna Hazare today said that it was time for the party to take a lesson from the defeat in the polls and pass the Jan Lokpal Bill at the earliest.

Hisar has sent Kuldeep Bishnoi of the Haryana Janhit Congress, supported by the BJP, to the Lok Sabha. Mr Bishnoi is the son of Bhajan Lal, who was the Hisar MP and who died in June this year.
