Men to watch out for at Wimbledon 2013
Men's tennis is going through an amazing phase with stiff competition all over. Of the last four Grand Slams, one each have been won by the top-four - Federer (Wimbledon 2012), Murray (US Open 2012), Djokovic (Australian Open 2013) and Nadal (French Open 2013). Who will win Wimbledon 2013?

It will be this piece of silverware and a host of determined men after it, cometh the Wimbledon 2013. There are the seasoned contenders- Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Andy Murray and then there are the surprise packages like Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Tomas Berdych, Juan Martin del Potro, David Ferrer, Bernard Tomic, Mardy Fish. It remains to be seen as to who takes home the coveted trophy in 2013. (AFP Photo)

Roger Federer was knocked out by Jo Wilfred Tsonga in the quarter finals of Wimbledon 2011. 2012 was 'his year' though, with record-equalling 7th Wimbledon title after a win over fierce compatriot Andy Murray. On his 'favourite' court, he would now want to go 'one up' on Pete Sampras in 2013. (AFP Photo)

In 2011, Novak Djokovic was hot property - winning three out of the four Grand Slams. He has since won the Australian Open both times but failed to gain the upperhand in any of the other Slams. The Serbian too will be hoping to make it his year, starting with the Wimbledon 2013 crown. (AFP Photo)

Rafael Nadal may have been beaten by an in-form Djokovic at the Wimbledon 2011, but Rafa is not one who takes anything lying down. The French Open 2012 and 2013 proved that he still has all the firepower required to trump difficult opponents. Rafa would definitely be looking for a 2008 and 2010 encore at the championships. He has been the 'there and there-about' player since he has stepped on to a tennis court. In his 'home' Slam, Andy Murray would be looking to get the records straight. It will not be a rosy path as Murray very well acknowledges, but to step up and do the unthinkable will make him a worthy champion. He now also has the backing of a Grand Slam win - US Open 2012 - to ignite his charge. (AFP Photo)

Ranked seventh in the world (as of now), the Frenchman has all it takes to be at the top. He will just need to channelise his energies and bring out the aggression when required the most. His quarter-final victory in Wimbledon 2011 over Roger Federer stands him in good stead but when will he break that barrier to lift the trophy remains to be seen. (AFP Photo)

Tomas Berdych remains at the top of ATP rankings (6th) but he is another of those players for whom 'so near, yet so far' holds true. To go up one notch he has to break the barriers that exist more in his mind than anywhere else. 2013 could be his year to do just that. (AFP Photo)

Juan Martin Del Potro won the 2009 US Open and gave a solid testament of his credentials. It hasn't been going that well for him since then though. Although injuries have plagued him at the wrong time, the Argentine may be egged upon when Wimbledon calls.(AFP Photo)

David Ferrer is widely experienced and immensely hard-working but Wimbledon has never been his forte. He though reached the quarters in 2012. Although an impressive performance at the French Open, reaching the final, might boost the 31-year old, grass could prove to be too much for his style of play. (AFP Photo)
