EPL, 16th March 2013: Of upsets, champions and legends

A lacklustre Manchester City all but bowed out of the title race at Everton with a 2-0 loss, especially as Man United followed the match up with a win vs Reading. January signing Nacho Monreal and Gervinho struck late in the game at the Liberty Stadium as Arsene Wenger's side responded in positive fashion to their mid-week elimination from the Champions League. Meanwhile, Liverpool lost ground in the race for European qualification after losing 3-1 at Southampton.
