HTC Butterfly: First look The HTC Butterfly is the first commercially available smartphone to feature a full HD 1080p screen. HTC Butterfly: First look The phone has a large 5-inch screen, but HTC doesn't like to call it a phablet. HTC Butterfly: First look The Butterfly features a Super LCD 3 display with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 and has a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. HTC Butterfly: First look There's a greyish brown metal strip right above the earpiece, which gives a phone a premium feel. The earpiece grille sports red colour. HTC Butterfly: First look The back of the phone has a soft rubberised matte finish. HTC Butterfly: First look The 8-Megapixel camera lens is located towards the top, and the lens unit doesn't protrude out and is flush with the body of the phone. HTC Butterfly: First look The phone also features a notification LED just adjacent to the camera lens at the back. HTC Butterfly: First look The Beats audio branding and the speaker outlet is located towards the bottom of the phone. HTC Butterfly: First look The bottom panel features a microphone and a rubber insert which hides the Micro-USB port. HTC Butterfly: First look The power/screen lock button sits on top, in the middle, along with a secondary microphone and an insert that hides a slot for the SIM card and the microSD slot. HTC Butterfly: First look The right side features the volume rocker, which is also red in colour, just like the pseudo-side grille. HTC Butterfly: First look The front also features three capacitive touch buttons and their markings,used for navigating the phone. HTC Butterfly: First look The SIM card slot is really cumbersome and it took us a while to figure out the mechanism for placing our SIM card inside the phone.
