Haven't we all had moments when we've hoped to magically bump into our favourite celebrities? But what are the odds of this wishful thinking ever coming true?

Pretty high! At least that is what this 13-year-old in Canada would want you to believe.

Sydney Bourbeau just had "the best moment" of her life. Just three days ago she got a chance to share the stage and sing along with singer Ed Sheeran at West Edmonton Mall.

Sydney was performing her rendition of Sheeran's Thinking Out Loud for a fundraiser. Little did she know, the Grammy-nominated singer was at a music store in the same mall and heard her singing.

In the video, Sheeran can be seeing walking up to the stage, excited to join the teenager for a duet. Only, it takes her a few seconds to realize what's actually happening.

"I was like, should I stop? I didn't want to stop, but I wanted to talk to him," she told the Edmonton Journal. "This is, like, the best thing that's ever happened to me."

The video shot and posted by Sheeran's cousin Murray Cummings has gone viral with over 2.1 million views on YouTube since June 14.
