Cineyug promoter Karim Morani, an accused in the 2G spectrum allocation, finally appeared in the court in connection with the case.
The Special CBI court had yesterday dismissed Morani's anticipatory bail plea.
Morani had been seeking exemptions from court appearances citing medical grounds.
Even today Morani came to court wearing a neck brace. His lawyers say he's undergone an angioplasty and has been in hospital for many days.
This is the first time he has come to the court since he was summoned along with Kanimozhi and others.
CBI, in its second charge sheet in 2G case, had alleged that Swan Telecom and Dynamix Realty Promoters Shahid Usman Balwa and Vinod Goenka channeled Rs 200 crore to DMK family-run Kalaignar TV, through Kusegaon Fruits and Vegetables Pvt Ltd and Morani's Cineyug Films Pvt Ltd.
