New Delhi: The University of Mumbai published the results for semester 5 and 6 of the three-year Bachelor of Arts (TYBA) course and three year Bachelor Sciences (BSc). Though it was removed for sometime from the results portal to everyone's surprise, the varsity has placed the results again on the website. Mumbai University students who have appeared for the three year BA and BSc five and six semester exams now search for the results now. Mumbai University has already missed three deadlines to declare exam results - July 31, August 5 and August 15, and faced flak from students and political leaders on the delay.

Last week, three law faculty students of the University have moved the Bombay High Court asking the court to order their varsity to pay a compensation of Rs. 10 lakh for the delay in announcing the exam results.

According to the update available on the official website of Mumbai University, the results of BSc IT Semester-VI, TYBSc Semester-V, TYBSc Semester-V, TYBSc Semester-VI and TYBSc Semester-VI have been published.

The Mumbai University exams were conducted in the months of March and April, 2017.

Opening the possibility of releasing the results in stages, Education Minister Vinod Tawde had recently said the Maharashtra government was considering the release of the results of assessed examination papers of Mumbai University soon, instead of waiting for assessment of all the papers to be complete.

Meanwhile speaking at a review meeting on the delay in declaration of results of the University of Mumbai for the year 2017, Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao said on Friday, that all the results should be declared at the earliest and no student should suffer on account of delay in declaration of results.

The Mumbai University has earlier said that it will be able to declare results of  the undergraduate courses in arts, science, Information Technology and management studies very soon but commerce and law students may have to wait longer.

Step One: Open the official website for Mumbai University, mu.ac.in
Step Two: Click on the results link provided on the homepage.
Step Three: Click on the Faculty link
Step Four: Click on the results you are searching for
Step Five: Enter your roll number in the field provided and click on "Go".

The students may download the results and take a print out for future use.
