Mass murder at farmhouse in Panvel near Mumbai

Mumbai: Four dead bodies have been found in a farmhouse in Panvel in Maharashtra, a one and a half hour drive from Mumbai.

The farmhouse belongs to Dr Datta Patil, a local official.

His nephew, Ramdas Patil and the three other victims arrived at the farmhouse three days ago. Unconfirmed reports say they asked the security guard at the house to disappear.

They were discovered dead by the gardener this morning.  Three of the men had been killed after being hit by stones on their heads. The fourth person was shot.

Sources say bottles of alcohol and ingredients that appear related to black magic have been collected by the police as evidence.
