Congress complains about Narendra Modi's remark on Sonia Gandhi's mental balance
New Delhi: The Congress party has filed a complaint with the Election Commission, objecting to a remark made against its president, Sonia Gandhi, by BJP leader Narendra Modi, who is looking for a third term as chief minister of Gujarat.

On Friday, at a rally, Mr Modi said that Mrs Gandhi "had lost her mental balance" because she was crediting the Union government for introducing important new schemes  in Gujarat.

Gujarat wraps up voting today. Saurashtra and south Gujarat voted on December 13 with a record 70.25% turnout; today, north and central Gujarat (including the Kutch region) are choosing their next government. Results will be declared on Thursday.
