The 'invisible' car from Mercedes

The 'invisible' car from Mercedes
London: This new Merc can turn invisible! Well, almost. It's quite an example of science and marketing coming together to catch your eye by, ironically, not letting you see the product.

The researchers at Mercedes Benz created the illusion that their new zero emissions F-Cell Mercedes Benz is not even there at all, the Daily Mail reported.

In this clever publicity stunt, Mercedes wanted to emphasize that its fuel cell vehicle has no omissions, making it virtually invisible to the environment.

This was achieved by placing a mat of LEDs across one side of the vehicle, which received a live signal from a video-shooting digital SLR camera on the other side of the car. The result was stunning to say the least.
