Chicago:
Suspected LeT operative Tahawwur Rana's bail plea will come up for hearing in a Chicago court today.
Assistant US attorney Daniel Collins said the nature of the charges alone should require Rana to remain behind bars pending a trial.
Earlier for the first time terror suspect Rana's lawyer had issued a statement denying Rana's possible links to 26/11 terror attacks.
Rana and Headley, arrested by the FBI in October on charges they wereplotting terror attacks in Denmark and India, are also underinvestigation for possible links to the 26/11 terror strikes in Mumbailast year that killed 166 people.
Yesterday Headley's bail plea was deferred indefinitely.
