Zubeen Garg Death Probe: Two Accused Sent To 14-Day CID Remand

In a major development in the Zubeen Garg death probe, his bandmate Sekhar Jyoti Goswami and co-singer Amritprava Mahanta, arrested on Thursday, were produced before the Chief Judicial Magistrate’s Court in Guwahati today. The court has sent both to 14 days of CID remand. The CID's Special Investigation Team (SIT) has accelerated the investigation, while the Assam government, in its first official response since four arrests were made, confirmed that it is making relentless efforts to bring the NRIs involved in the yacht party under the purview of the investigation.
